This means you’ll be able to download and use Android apps, so you can make a Skype call, work with Office files and be productive offline - or take a break with games like Minecraft, Hearthstone or Clash of Clans. What the hell is happening lol. We’re bringing Google Play (the most popular app store in the world) to Chromebooks. So I made a recovery USB and resintalled the entire damn machine - "Google Play Terms of Service cannot be loaded" "Google Play Terms of Service cannot be loaded" Tried connecting to a different wifi network. Same problem, "Google Play Terms of Service cannot be loaded" - blocked. This time I wasnt able to get in via the phone control panel. and then got the Google Services screen block again. I wanted to doublecheck that everything was sorted so i restarted the machine to see. I clicked one of them and the Lenovo launched chrome and I was in, everything seened to be working fine. I clicked into this and in the little control panel it happened to display two of the tabs that were open in chrome on my phone. Wasn't sure what to do, and then I noticed at the bottom of the screen a little phone icon popped up, as the Lenovo had detected my phone nearby. But during set up I got the same Google Services screen and was blocked from progressing.

Clicking 'retry' endlessly didn't get rid of the screen. but then I suddenly got a screen saying "Google Play Terms of Service cannot be loaded, please check your network and try again". connected to my wifi without issue, entered my google credentials.

Wasn't sure what to do at first, but managed to find my way out of it and into the standard boot routine. Upon turning it on, it booted into developer mode (which I've never seen before and it took me by surprise). I just bought a 'Grade A' refurb Lenovo Flex 5i from a very well known retailer here in the UK and it arrived today.
